Chief Medical Officer
Suma is Chief Medical Officer at Nephra. As CMO, she is responsible for the company’s clinical research and acts as a liaison between Nephra and the medical community.
Suma received her bachelor’s degree in materials science and engineering from the University of Florida. She is currently a medical student at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in its Carle College of Medicine.
Previously, Suma has worked as an undergraduate researcher at the University of Florida in several biology and systems engineering laboratories.
